Common people and different political party activists formed a human chain on Tuesday in the Khulna city, demanding arrest of the killer of a female student of Government BL University College. The victim was Tanima Biswas Poly, daughter of Shibnath Biswas of village Shibnagar under Abhoynagar upazila. She went missing on September 27 and later on September 30 the police recovered her decomposed body from the River Bhairab.
Victim’s father lodged a case with the Phultala police on September 30 against Shoumen Raha Apu of Phultala upazila in the same district and four unnamed others in this connection but no one was arrested.
Speakers at the human chain demand the police to arrest the alleged killer Shoumen Raha Apu as soon as possible.
