Popular TV actress, model and Lux superstar Bidya Sinha Saha Meem came into limelight to perform in her last television commercial, “Ranga Pori Mehedi” under the direction of Mizanur Rahman Arian.
Under the same director’s direction Meem lastly performed in a telefilm titled “Trump Card” in last Eid-ul-Fitr.
This time Meem has started to work in a television commercial (TVC) of a jewellery house. She started to take part in shooting of the TVC of “Apon Diamond Jewellers,” which was being directed by Mehedi Hasib, at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) yesterday.
While sharing her feelings to take part in shooting in new TVC Meem told this correspondent, “Although I had experience to perform as model in different products, but for the first time I am working in a TVC of a jewellery house. After a break of few months, I have been taking part in shooting in any TVC. For this reason, I am feeling good. Concept of the new TVC is nice. I hope viewers will enjoy this.”
Meem performed this new TVC will go on air in different satellite channels on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, said Meem.
It may be mentioned that Meem firstly performed in a TVC of soft drinks, “Bigboss” under the direction of Amitabh Reza.
Meem acted other TVCs like “Tibet cream,” “Tibet lip-jell,” “Keya beauty soap,” “Pran Up” became popular among the viewers.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Meem again performed under the direction of Arian in his directed telefilm “Trump Card-2.” Vocalist of band troupe ‘Shironamhin,’ Tuhin has performed against her in this telefilm.
Therefore, on the occasion of upcoming Eid festival Meem has also performed in Animesh Aich, Anup Aich, Sokal Ahmed, Ripon Mia, Mosharraf Hossain Liton, Redoan Roni, among others directed TV plays.
On the other hand, in the beginning of Durga Puja Meem will stay in Bangladesh. But on October 14, she will have to go to Qatar along with her father Birendra Nath Saha, mother Chhobi Saha and younger sister Momi to take part in a stage show. After performing in that show, Meem will also travel in different places in Qatar, Meem informed this correspondent yesterday.
