A four- member team of the Dhaka University Mountaineering and Adventure Club is going to Nepal for conquering the Everest on October 16.
The DUMUC told this at a press conference at the old senate building of the university on Friday. The four members of the expedition are Persian language and literature department lecturer Md Ahsanul Huda, management studies department student Asiful Islam, social welfare and research institute student Mustafhizur Rahman and psychology department student Nabi Asif.
Earlier, members of the expedition received flags both of the university and the club.
DU management studies professor Md Mohiuddin, DU physical education center advisor Didarul Alam, country’s first Everest conqueror Musa Ibrahim and DU physical education center director Showkatur Rahman, among others, were present at the press conference.
