At least three people, including two of a family, were killed and four others injured critically in a road accident on Dhaka-Tangail Highway at Charpara under Mirzapur upazila of Tangail district Wednesday morning. The deceased were identified as Maynul Haque, 65, secretary of ward 42 of Dhaka city Awami League, his wife Shamsun Nahar, 55, and driver Jamil Hossain, 45.Three people died on the spot. The injured were admitted to Kumudini Medical College Hospital.
