Four Bangladeshis were killed and nine others injured in a road accident at Amgara in Jahara, Kuwait Saturday morning, foreign ministry officials here said on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Israfil, son of Shamsuddin, of Faridpur, Shawkat Sheikh, son of Jobbar Sheikh, of Madaripur and Nasir Uddin, son of Lihas Uddin, and Nazir Ahmed, son of Nur Ahmed, of Manikganj, said a press release issued by external publicity wing of the foreign ministry.
Five of the injured were in critical condition and kept in the Intensive Care Unit, said the release. They are Anwarul Sheikh of Faridpur, Abdur Rab Khan of Manikganj, Babul, Salam and Dewan Ali.
The other injured are Siraj of Faridpur, Belal of Comilla, Abdur Rahman of Manikganj and Hannan of Madaripur.
The accident took place at about 5:45am when the Bangladeshi nationals were on way to their workplaces.
