This was the big Diwali release all were waiting for. With weekend box office collections averaging close to Rs. 25 crores on each day (Friday – Rs. 25.5Cr, Saturday – Rs. 23 Cr & Sunday – Rs. 24.3), the film is set for bigger things, reports Hindusatan Times.

Directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan, the superhero sci-fi drama, made on a budget of about Rs. 100-Rs 150 crore, got a grand opening when it came out Friday.
Trade analyst Komal Nahta tweeted, ‘Rock-steady! That’s the only way to describe ‘Krrish 3’, given that Saturday was last day of dull pre-Diwali… Historic!’
RK Mehrotra, general manager, Delite cinemas informed that the film is houseful till Wednesday.
Krrish 3 is a 2013 Bollywood superhero science fiction film produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan. It is the third film in the Krrish series after Koi… Mil Gaya (2003) and Krrish (2006). The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra, and Kangna Ranaut in lead roles. The story follows the life of Rohit Mehra, a scientist, and Krishna ‘Krrish’ Mehra, his superhero son.
