Arrest of killers demanded
The teachers and students of Adarsha High School located in Fatulla formed a human chain on Sunday demanding arrest and punishment to the killers of a schoolboy.
Siyam Ahmed, 10, a class IV student of the school, was kidnapped from in front of his residence at Masdair village under Fatulla police station in Narayanganj Friday evening.
Later, police recovered his body from Mollabari area at Shantinagar village under Munshiganj sadar upazila on Saturday.
He went out of his house to play badminton, but he did not return home.
Fatulla police sub-inspector Md Sohel Alam said that Munshiganj police informed them of the matter. The family members identified the body kept in the hospital morgue, he added.
‘We suspect that the schoolboy might have been killed by criminals,’ he said. A case was filed with Fatulla model police station in this connection.
