Five candidates have emerged for two Bangladesh Cricket Board vice-president posts with an election due for December 4, according to BCB officials. Former senior vice-president Mahbub Anam and vice-president Ahmed Sazzadul Alam expressed their interest, along with Enayet Hossain, Ahmed Iqbal Hasan and AZM Nasir. The BCB failed to reach a consensus over the two largely ceremonial posts and consequently asked for a vote.
Officials said that a total of 26 directors will cast their votes in a secret ballot.
