The practice and warm-up matches of the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 Cricket Bangladesh for the participating men’s and women’s teams will be held at 15 different venues in the three host cities of the country. a fixture of the practice matches after getting proposal from the participating teams and sent it to the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the approval.The practice matches are scheduled to kick off from March 9 though the first round of the showpiece event will kick-start with the match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on March 16.
In Chittagong, the teams will play 15-match at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS), the main venue of the mega event. Besides the main venue, the teams could practice and play warm-up matches at the MA Aziz Stadium, Chittagong Women’s Complex ground and newly built Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox’s Bazar.
Sans semi-finals and final, all the matches of the women’s World T20 Cricket will be played at Sylhet Divisional Stadium (SDS).
