Bangladeshi FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman finished fifth in the Open Under-10 Classic category at the World Youth Chess Championships in Al-Ain, UAE on Saturday after beating Mongolia’s Ganerdene Suger in the 11th round. Fahad finished with 8.5 points out of a possible 11 after the final round on Saturday. The ten-year-old Bangladeshi also placed second in the Open Under-10 Blitz event, beating FM Aravinda N.L. of India in the seventh round on Saturday to finish with 6.5 points out of a possible seven.
