A one-over-par 73 on Friday further pushed back Bangladesh golfer Siddikur Rahman’s position in the standings of the King’s Cup after the second round’s play in Hua Hin, Thailand.
Siddik, who was tied for 31st position along with 11 other golfers after the opening round, slid to joint-35th position on Friday. Birdies in the 4th, 10th and 15th holes failed to brighten his prospects as he also hit bogeys in the 7th and 18th holes. A double bogey in the 14th hole worsened Siddik’s fortunes.
Thailand’s Prom Meesawat and Swedish golfer Rikard Karlberg continued to lead the standings jointly with an overall eight-under-par 136.
