Another brand new Boeing aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines will arrive in Dhaka today. The new guest to the fleet of the national flag carrier, Boeing 777-300ER left for Dhaka from Seattle of the US Thursday and will reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12 noon today, said a press release. The new Boeing will operate under the codenamed, ‘Akash Pradip’. With this, the number of new Boeing 777-300ER of Biman Bangladesh stands at three.
Meanwhile, a function will be held at the VVIP Ramp of the airport on February 11 to mark the induction of the new Boeing to the Biman fleet as well as to bid farewell to old
DC-10.
Prime minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the function as the chief guest.
