All-rounder Sakib al Hasan will leave for West Indies today to participate in the forthcoming Caribbean Premier League, said the officials of Bangladesh Cricket Board on Tuesday.
In the second edition of the league, which begins on July 11, Sakib will play Barbados Trident, a team that he represented in the previous edition alsoSakib had rocked the CPL first edition with a stunning display of spin bowling, which included his career best 6-6 against Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel.
Sakib is expected to join the Bangladesh national team in West Indies when they visit the Caribbean for a full series in mid August.
