A 15-member Zimbabwe A team captained by former Test cricketer Vusimuzi Sibanda arrive Dhaka today to play two four-day and three one-day matches against their Bangladeshi counterparts. Zimbabwe formed a strong second string side with the aim to include some them in the Test squad on merit of their performance in the series. The Zimbabwe national team is due to arrive here on October 17 to play three Tests and five one-day internationals.
Both the sides will fly to Cox’s Bazaar on Thursday where the first four-day game will be played from September 14.
The second four-day match will be held at Fatullah from September 21 followed by the three one-day matches on September 27, 29 and October 1.
Five Zimbabwean players are expected to arrive on September 25 to bolster the strength of their one-day squad.
