Pooja Bhatt, who has mostly been behind the camera for the last 13 years, will be in front of it soon. Her self-imposed 13-year-long break nears its end as Bhatt will be seen in Mr Chaalu, directed by Reema Kagti, reports India Today.
The producers of the film, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, reportedly, were in talks with Tabu for the role. However, sources say that they later changed their mind and zeroed in on Pooja, thinking that she would better suit the role of their Lady Holmes.
Pooja took to Twitter to confirm the news, ‘…Thrilled to be working with Reema for more reasons than one. All it took was one phone call from Ritesh, a narration & was ON!’
The actress, who has to her credit some hit films of the 90s, stuck to production and directing movies over the last 13 years.
