DuPont president (south Asia and ASEAN) Balvinder Singh Kalsi is in Dhaka on a three-day official visit starting today, said a news release. DuPont is focused on growth on the emerging markets and Balvinder’s visit marks company’s efforts for strengthening presence in Bangladesh, it said. During his visit, Balvinder will meet business leaders, partners, customers and other people concerned.
Prior to his current role, Balvinder was located at the company’s headquarters in Wilmington, Del, as director of Corporate Strategic Plans. In a career spanning 23 years at DuPont, he has held a number of business and functional leadership positions. Prior to his move to the United States, he was president of DuPont, India.
DuPont Bangladesh is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the American parent company focusing on science-based solutions that address Bangladesh growth. These solutions address a variety of market segments including agriculture, food and nutrition, auto, safety and protection (including defence), renewable energy, healthcare, home and construction, electronics, transportation, and infrastructure.
