Noakhali district became champions in the Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Cup Gold Cup Football Tournament that ended at Shaheed Bhulu Stadium in Noakhali on Thursday. Noakhali beat Rangamati 5-3 in penalty shootout in the final stipulated 90 minutes ended goalless.
Additional Divisional Commissioner of Chittagong, Mohammad Khalilur Rahman, watched the final as chief guest and distributed the prizes among the winners.
All 11 district teams of the division and Chittagong University team have participated in the tournament that started on November 22.
