The Super League of the Dhaka Premier League is set to get underway from December 24, said the Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis on Sunday. Six teams —Abahani Limited, Prime Bank CC, Kalabagan Cricket Academy, Prime Doleshwar SC, Legends of Rupganj and Mohammedan Sporting Club — all will take on each other in the league. In the first round, arch-rivals Ahahani Limited and Mohammedan SC will face off at Fatullah while defending champions Legends of Rupganj will lock horns with Prime Bank at the BKSP.
KCA will take on Prime Doleshwar in the other match of the opening Super League round at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
Abahani and Prime Bank jointly lead the points table with 18 points from the first phase.
