Bangladesh ‘A’ team will be looking to bounce back after their dismal show in the first match when they take on their Indian counterparts in the second of the three-match one-day series at Bangalore today.
The visitor’s top-order batsmen must return to form if they are to stay alive in the series.
In the first match on Wednesday, chasing India’s 322-7 Bangladesh were at one stage reeling at 5-87 before Liton Kumar Das (75) and Nasir Hossain (52) added 120 runs for the sixth wicket.
But their effort was not enough as Bangladesh were dismissed for 226 in 42.3 overs to surrender a 96-run defeat.
In today’s match, paceman Al-Amin Hossain is expected to replace injured Taskin Ahmed, who returned home after suffering a side strain injury during the first one-day.
