Pace bowler Taskin Ahmed started the rectification process of his bowling action on Monday after the International Cricket Council suspended him from bowling in international matches.
Taskin trained under pace bowling coach Heath Streak for about an hour at the indoor complex, adjacent to the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, in the afternoon.BCB officials said Streak will work with Taskin again today before the Zimbabwean goes for a holiday.
Taskin returned early from India after the ICC rejected his review appeal against the suspension.
The BCB hoped Taskin will soon be able to apply for the reassessment of his action after correcting the minor flaw that was detected in his action.
Streak, whose 450-day contract with the BCB ends in June, was entrusted with the responsibly rectifying Taskin’s action.
