Bangladesh’s pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman’s amazing performance in the ongoing Indian Premier League has made him the most cherished young cricketer as he is leading the poll for the best emerging player of the IPL. The ninth edition the IPL has introduced a new section which named ‘Emerging Player of the Season’ and cricket lovers from all over the world are casting their vote for their favourite players to elect the most emerging player in the tournament.
But the young left-handed seamer made the poll a complete one-sided one as he received more than 97 per cent of the vote till date and all but set to win the competition. Jasprit Bummra is in the distant second place with just 1.2 per cent votes.
The lanky pacer, who features in Sunrisers Hyderabad, bagged 14 wickets in 12 matches with an envious economy rate of 6.66 and currently in the fourth spot of the most wicket takers list.
