Pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman is all but sure to play in today’s final of the Indian Premier League, said a Bangladesh Cricket Board official on Saturday.
Mustafizur’s stint in the IPL came to an abrupt halt on Friday when he was ruled out of the second qualifier between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Lions in New Delhi.National team’s physio Baizidul Islam said on Saturday that he had spoken to Mustafiz and it seemed that it is hardly serious.
‘I don’t think it is very serious,’ said Baizid.
‘He seemed to be confident to play in the final. In the morning Sunrisers physio had seen him and they were not worried [according to Mustafiz]’, he said.
