Ace Bangladeshi golfer Siddikur Rahman made a modest start in Thailand’s King’s Cup, his last competition before the Olympics in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro.
The two-time Asian Tour winner finished the first round of the $750,00 tournament in joint 19th place with 13 other players with a two-under-par 68 on Thursday.Siddik began the day at the Phoenix Gold Golf and Country Club in Pattay in style with a birdie in the first hole and fired two more birdies in the fourth and sixth hole but spoiled his good work with a bogey in the ninth hole.
His completed the next nine holes without any bogey and birdie.
