Bangladesh national team coach Chandika Hathurusinghe returns today to take up the responsibility of the Tigers’ ahead of the home series against England.
Hathurusinghe, who was enjoying vacation along with his family members, is due to arrive at 10:40pm through a Singapore Airlines. His arrival is expected to complete the quota of foreign staff of Tigers at the moment as Bangladesh Cricket Board is in two minds whether to keep Ruwan Kalpage or not while they are expected to announce the name of the bowling coach soon.
Kalpage, assistant coach of Tigers is reluctant to return here citing security reasons while the post of the bowling coach went vacant after the resignation of Heath Streak.
Earlier, Tigers fielding coach Richard Halsall and trainer Mario Villavarayan returned here respectively on August 5 and 6.
