1 – Sakib al Hasan became the only cricketer in World Cup history to score over 500 runs and take more than 10 wickets in a single edition of the competition, after his 66 off 74 balls against India at Edgbaston on Tuesday took his run tally to 542. Sakib also took 1-41 with the ball, adding to his previous 10 wickets in the competition.
2 – Mustafizur Rahman became the second Bangladeshi bowler to take a five-wicket haul in World Cup when he finished with 5-59 against India on Tuesday. Sakib al Hasan is the other bowler to achieve the landmark when he took 5-29 against Afghanistan at Southampton during the ongoing World Cup.
4 – Indian opener Rohit Sharma on Tuesday struck his fourth hundred in the ongoing World Cup and became only second player after Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara to score four hundreds in a single edition of World Cup.
4 – Opener Tamim Iqbal on Tuesday became fourth Bangladeshi cricketer to represent his country for 200 or more number of one-day international matches. Mashrafee bin Murtaza, Sakib al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim are the other players to achieve the milestone.
5 – Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman on Tuesday claimed 5-59 against India at Edgbaston and became only the second bowler from his country to take five-wicket haul four times in his career. Veteran spinner Abdur Razzak also has four five-wicket haul in one-day internationals.
10 – With his hundred against Bangladesh, Rohit Sharma became the 10th batsman to score 500 or more runs in a World Cup tournament.
15 – With his 5-59, Mustafizur Rahman took his wickets tally in the ongoing World Cup to 15 and he is now Bangladesh’s highest wicket taker in a single edition of a World Cup. The previous best was when spinner Abdur Razzak claimed 13 wickets in nine matches during 2007 World Cup.
26 – Rohit Sharma struck his 26th one-day international hundred against Bangladesh on Tuesday and now he has five World Cup hundreds.
180 – Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Lokesh Rahul put up 180 runs against Bangladesh on Tuesday which is the highest opening stand for India in World Cup.
