An information technology portal named Bangladesh IT Connect Portal—Japan was launched yesterday with the goal of fostering business ties between domestic and Japanese IT enterprises.
The Enhancing Digital Government and Economy project of the Bangladesh Computer Council and the Japanese Embassy will work together to create a business-to-business hub for IT entrepreneurs in Bangladesh and Japan, allowing them to interact, set up interviews, and attract funding.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister for ICT, inaugurated the portal at a virtual event.
NM Zeaul Alam, senior secretary of the ICT Division, and ITO Naoki, ambassador of Japan, were present at the event.
