A probe has been begun by Adidas into claims that Kanye West created a hostile work environment during his time with the company.
Some workers on the Yeezy collaboration have reportedly come forward to say that the rapper used sexually graphic images and videos as a form of bullying toward them, as reported by Rolling Stone.
They wrote that management saw West’s “problematic behavior” but “turned their moral compass off.”
Adidas has stated that it is unsure at this time whether or not the claims are true.
The company issued a statement on Thursday saying, “It is currently not evident whether the charges mentioned in an anonymous letter are real.”
We have decided to initiate an independent investigation into the matter immediately because we take these allegations extremely seriously.
West, who was fired by the company last month for making anti-Semitic comments online, has yet to comment on the Rolling Stone article.
