Programme marks successful collaboration between Bangladesh and Miyazaki

The closing ceremony of the Bangladesh-Miyazaki ICT Engineers Educational Training (B-MEET) program’s third batch was held at the B-JET center on July 3, 2023.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests Hiroki Watanabe and Minami Kurokami from JICA, as well as Professor Mohammad Khasro Miah, director of the Career and Placement Center and the initiator of the B-JET center, said a press release on Sunday.
Professor Miah congratulated the trainees on their successful completion of the program, which bridges Japan and Bangladesh, creating career opportunities in Japanese industries and offering training through the B-JET Center for students from North South University and other universities.
Yuki Morishita, the Training Administrator of the B-MEET Program, delivered an inspiring speech that deeply resonated with the trainees.
She spoke about the importance of perseverance and dedication in achieving one’s goals.
Eighteen trainees were honoured with certificates for their exceptional performance. These certificates attest to their unwavering determination, dedication, and commitment to acquiring essential skills for success as ICT professionals.
The Japanese trainers from Miyazaki University shared their wisdom through warm and friendly speeches, enlightening the participants. The event concluded on a harmonious note, with a symbolic friendship song that represented the deep bond between Bangladesh and Japan, further strengthening the connection between the two nations. – Press release
