Pop sensation Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have settled their divorce bringing an end to their marriage that began in May 2021, PEOPLE confirms.
The couple’s legal separation was officially confirmed on October 6, 2023, just a few weeks after they initiated the divorce process.
Per their agreement, the 30-year-old singer will provide a one-time, tax-free payment of $1,250,000 to Gomez, who is 28 years old. Additionally, Dalton will be entitled to fifty percent of the net proceeds resulting from the sale of their former residence in Los Angeles.
It’s worth noting that there will be no ongoing spousal support since his settlement is provided upfront rather than spread out over time. Ariana Grande has also agreed to cover Dalton’s attorney fees, up to a maximum of $25,000.
Interestingly, despite the recent divorce filing, the couple had separated six months earlier. Their official date of separation, as stated in their legal documents, is February 20, 2023.
The couple managed to keep their separation low-key for several months, even celebrating their second wedding anniversary in May when Ariana Grande posted a heartfelt tribute on her Instagram, featuring a photo from their wedding day with the caption “2 (3.5 together!!!) I love him so.”
