As Bruce Willis’ devastating Fronto Temporal Dementia diagnosis advances in his brain, there are updates that will keep coming as bread crumbs that will devastate his fans little by little.
One of his great friends is showrunner and writer Glenn Gordon Caron. He isone of the people from the entertainment industry that has attempted to remain in the actor’s life and he recently spoke to the New York Post.
According to the times he has visited the actor, there is a part of Bruce Willis that no longer exists. It’s an aspect of his personality that perfectly described him amongst his friends or peers.
Bruce has always been a joyful person who enjoyed the experience of living to the fullest. That Bruce is gone, according to Caron.
Caron said: “He loved life and … just adored waking up every morning and trying to live life to its fullest. So the idea that he now sees life through a screen door, if you will, makes very little sense. He’s really an amazing guy. When you’re with him you know that he’s Bruce and you’re grateful that he’s there. But the joie de vivre is gone.”
There is currently no cure for Fronto Temporal Dementia but one can only hope science can catch up to a solution soon before it’s too late for people who suffer the same illness as Bruce.
