Cricket West Indies (CWI) unveiled the West Indies Test squad for the highly anticipated two-match series against Bangladesh starting November 22.
Led by Kraigg Brathwaite, the Windies squad features an exciting mix of seasoned, in-form players and fresh talent.
Justin Greaves is performing well and has excelled in the domestic white-ball tournament, strengthening the batting lineup. Kevin Sinclair is back in the team, providing an extra spin choice.
West Indies will be without their ex-captain and pace all-rounder Jason Holder. He is currently recovering from a shoulder injury.
Bangladesh and West Indies are currently ranked 8th and 9th in the WTC standings, with point percentages of 27.50 and 18.52, respectively.
The Bangladesh Test squad, without injured all-format skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto, is already in the Caribbean. Shanto, who missed the series-deciding third ODI against Afghanistan last week, suffered a groin injury while fielding in the second ODI against Afghanistan.
