The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) reported that a well-marked low-pressure area over the southeast Bay of Bengal and nearby Equatorial Indian Ocean is still present.
This weather system is likely to strengthen further, according to BMD’s morning update.
The bulletin indicates that the weather will likely be dry with some clouds over the country for the next 24 hours starting at 9:00 am today.
Both night and day temperatures are expected to drop slightly across the country.
Light to moderate fog may develop in various regions during late night to early morning.
BMD predicts rain in the weather forecast for the next five days.
In Dhaka, winds direction will be north-northwest at a speed of six to 12 kilometers per hour.
This morning, the lowest temperature in the country today was noted at 13 degrees Celsius at Badalgachhi, according to BMD.
