Popular singer and actor Tahsan Khan married Roza Ahmed in a private ceremony Saturday (4 January).
“Our families were there for the wedding. I wanted to share the news with everyone only after we were married. That’s why I hadn’t said anything before,” Tahsan told Prothom Alo yesterday.
“We have celebrated this beautiful occasion. Please pray for us so that we can navigate this journey together with grace,” the singer added.
Speculation about Tahsan’s marriage started circulating on social media on Friday (3 January) after a photo from the couple’s gaye holud ceremony went viral.
Tahsan later confirmed that the photo was indeed from the pre-wedding event held on Friday.
He shared another picture with his bride Roza Ahmed on social media last evening.
The post quickly attracted significant attention, receiving over 550,000 reactions and more than 85,000 congratulatory comments within an hour.
Roza Ahmed, originally from Barishal, has been living in New York for the past three years. She is a bridal makeup artist and runs a business called Roza’s Bridal Makeover in New York.
