A new social club for Volkswagen enthusiasts called “VW Club Bangladesh Ltd” has been launched in Bangladesh, bringing together owners and admirers of the German car brand in an effort to build community and promote road safety.
According to a press release, VW Club Bangladesh Ltd was formally inaugurated on September 26 at the Purbachal Club on the outskirts of Dhaka. The event, attended by car owners, industry figures and invited guests, featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the introduction of the founding members and executive committee, and a display of both classic and modern Volkswagen vehicles.
The club has been established by a group of Volkswagen owners who say their goal is to create an inclusive space for members to share their interest in the brand, take part in social events, and support awareness campaigns around driving safety.
VW Club Bangladesh Ltd will operate as a non-profit organisation, with plans to organise regular meet-ups, drives, and charitable initiatives, states the press release. – Press release
