Aamir Khan is on a royal roll. Ah, quite so, considering that Khan and spouse Kiran Rao have been officially invited to dine with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles at the Marlborough House in Westminster, London.
A highly placed source states, “Aamir is honoured and has accepted the invitation from Prince Charles for cocktails and dinner, to which only a select few A listers have been invited.”
Reportedly, the actor will be in Toronto on September 6, 2010, as Rao’s ‘Dhobi Ghat’ has been officially selected for the fest. Thereafter, he is slated to be in London on September 26, 2010, for the UK release of ‘Peepli [Live]’.
Earlier, Gulshan Grover, who’s also made inroads into the West, had bragged about sharing a cuppa with the Prince of Wales. And Khan’s brush with royalty, has taken matters a step further. Great food for thought….
