Acer the second largest PC vendor in the world launched its much awaited tablets in Dhaka recently. The new range of five tablets were launched under the brand ICONIA series, a new concept device set to add a brand new tablet experience for highly intuitive all-point multi-touch functionality, which means user’s can navigate seamlessly using all their fingers. The new range of tablets will be made available across Bangladesh through its authorized distributor, Executive Technologies Limited.
Acer is the first PC vendor to launch its new range of tablets under both operating systems; Google Android Honeycomb 3.0 and Windows 7 platform. Both operating systems assure users to comfortably handle both business and leisure related tasks. With an innovative approach to personal computing the ICONIA series offers a range of easy to use devices such as smartphones, notebooks and tablets where one need not look further from new range of tablets.
Acer brings in the full capacitive Acer ICONIA Tab A500 and W500 on both Android Honeycomb 3.0 and Windows 7 platform. The 10.1″ fully capacitive touch screen ensures an optimal on-screen experience from every angle. The aluminum casing provides a cool look and feel, while its high-gloss finish decorated with an engraved pattern demonstrates subtle sophistication. Despite being just 13.3mm thick, it’s powerful enough to provide fun and productivity in any location. Acer tablets are powered and equipped with a full size USB port, mini USB port, HDMI output, Micro SD card and Sim Card support, positioning it as a multi usage tablet with rich connectivity.
The ICONIA Tab A500 is equipped with NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core 1.0 GHz processor with Flash 10.1 support for optimized HD Web experience, 3D gaming and multimedia playback anywhere. For seamless communication, it also features the Sky Cross antenna and ZTE LTE wireless module.
