Anamul Haque and three other cricketers passed their Higher Secondary Certificate examination, the results of which were published on Saturday.
The national team opener secured 3.6 grade points, appearing from the Bangladesh Krira Shikha Protishthan (BKSP). Anamul, who is currently in England with the Bangladesh ‘A’ team, had earlier missed the tour of Zimbabwe to take the examination.
His school-mate and rising all-rounder Soumya Sarker got 3.2 points to get past the hurdle, while women’s national team member Ayesha Akhter Supta scored 4.9 in this year’s examination.
Pace bowling prospect Taskin Ahmed, who appeared from Stamford College, secured 3.1.
