The talented young actor Anisur Rahman Milon is passing busy days acting in TV plays and telefilms for the upcoming Eid. He is acting in 20 plays and tele-films in the Eid special programmes to be aired in different channels.
‘I can not exactly say the names of all the productions I am going to act for this Eid, but the audience can watch me in 20 TV plays and telefilms which will be telecast on almost all the TV channels,’ said Anisur Rahman Milon in an interview with New Age.
‘Though the audience will watch me repeatedly in the Eid programmes, but the characters I have performed are not repetitive, rather, I have acted in different unique rolls,’ said the versatile actor.
Milon has gained popularity and acclamation in a very short span of time through his spontaneous acting; however, the actor is quite choosey in selecting a drama. According to him, ‘At first I go through the script. If I find it worthy enough, I take the offer.’
While discussing about character selection, Milon said that he is very much careful in choosing characters. ‘I prefer those characters which are totally different from my real nature. I face challenges when I personify someone whose personality is completely unlike to me,’ said Milon.
Among the numerous TV plays he has acted in; Milon named several dramas such as Projapoti Kal, Hatkura, Rumali as his favorite ones. ‘These dramas provided me opportunity to portray some unique roles,’ said Milon.
As an instinctive actor, Anisur Rahman Milon is also an active member of theatre troupe Desh Natok since 2000. However, his performance in Ranger Manush, directed and scripted by Salahuddin Lavlu and Masum Reza respectively, brought him immense popularity among the viewers. Thus he became a regular artiste in television.
