Bangladesh A team are facing a defeat against Sagicor High Performance Centre in their first four-day match in West Indies, now being held at the Windward Park in Barbados.
A four-wicket haul by Carlos Braithwaite saw the second string Bangladeshi side being dismissed for 140 runs in 41.4 overs in their first innings on the second day on Wednesday
Opener Kraig made an undefeated 96 runs as the hosts ended the second day at 170-2 taking an overall lead of 322 runs.
SHPC were restricted to 292 runs in their first innings, but the visitors got into all sort of trouble after they resumed the day at five for no loss as they failed to handle the lively wicket at Barbados despite the openers giving them a decent start by putting on 66 runs.
Opening batsman Imrul Kayes scored highest 32 runs in the entire innings while Muktar Ali added 31 after coming lower the order as the others could hardly make any contributions.
Brathwaite and Migue Cummins wreaked a havoc on the A team innings, finishing respectively with 4-45 and 3-25.
Sagicor scored 170 runs on the second day with eight wickets in hand as first innings flop skipper Brathwaite decided to cover up his failure by displaying some murderous batting on his way to an unbeaten 96 runs with 10 fours and one six.
Brathwaite added 90 runs for the third wicket with Leon Johnson (40 not out).
Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam and Nasir Hossain shared two wickets that fell in the Sagicor second innings.
