Say seminar of IT experts
Bangladesh is best placed to tap the billion-dollar Voice over Internet Protocol outsourcing business of the world, information technology experts said on Thursday.
‘Bangladesh has been listed as one of the top 30 global outsourcing destinations. Bangladesh has the right mix of skilled manpower in the IT and telecoms domains and is really well-placed to tap this opportunity,’ Technoheaven Company Ltd chief executive officer Habibullah Karim told a seminar arranged by REVE Systems at the ongoing BASIS Soft Expo 2011 at the city’s Bangabandhu Inter-national Conference Centre.
REVE Systems marketing director Sanjit Chatterjee in his keynote address at the session outlined the various opportunities in the VoIP industry that could be explored by Bangladeshi entrepreneurs.
The seminar featured a panel discussion participated by IT experts from Bangladesh and abroad, especially representatives of telecom companies from India. REVE Systems CEO M Rezaul Hassan moderated the discussion.
