Bangladesh on Monday were drawn with hosts Nepal and Bhutan in Group ‘A’ of the inaugural SAFF Under-19 football Championship.
The draw of the tournament was held in Kathmandu with India, Maldives and Afghanistan lining up in Group ‘B’ of the tournament scheduled here for August 20-29.
The seeding for the draw was based on the latest AFC U-19 rankings.
Bangladesh were seeded top followed by India, Maldives, Nepal, Afghanistan and Bhutan.
Bangladesh will open their campaign with a match against Bhutan on August 22 before taking on hosts on August 24.
All matches will be played either at the Anfa Complex or the Army Physical Training & Sports Centre.
The final of the tournament will be held on August 29.
