Bangladesh have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during their ICC World Twenty20 match against India at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Wednesday.
Match referee Chris Broad imposed the fine after the Tigers were ruled to be one over short of their target when time allowances were taken into consideration.Skipper Mashrafee bin Murtaza has been fined 20 per cent of his match fee while all other players have received 10 per cent fines each.
Bangladesh suffered a heartbreaking one-run loss in the match after losing three wickets in the last three balls.
