The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) agreed in principle to host Bangladesh national side in Kuala Lumpur on August 23 after Bangladesh Football Federation requested them to arrange a practice match as part of Bangladesh’s preparation for the SAFF Championship.
“At the moment, they (Malaysia) can’t assemble their national team or arrange a top club due to the ongoing Malaysian Super League but they are ready to provide their Olympic squad (U-23 side) which has just returned home after playing in Tunisia,” said BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag yesterday.
Shohag expects to get the official confirmation letter today.
