Battery-run rickshaw puller killed
A rickshaw-puller was killed and two of his passengers were injured when his battery-run rickshaw collided head-on with a human hauler in the capital’s Kochukhet yesterday.
The dead is Shah Alam Razzak, 35.
Sub-inspector Motiar Rahman of Bhashantek Police Station said the human hauler hit the rickshaw around 11:00am, sending it skidding into an electric pole. Flung against the pole, Razzak died on the spot.
Police detained human hauler driver Rakib.
