BB asks NBFIs to inform through its web portal
Bangladesh Bank on Thursday asked non-bank financial institutions to inform the central bank about any change of their directors within seven days through the related web link of the central bank’s web portal. The BB issued a circular to managing directors and chief executive officers of all NBFIs in this regard. The BB asked the NBFIs to submit reports on changes of their directors on quarterly-basis through the rationalised input template of the central bank web site. The NBFIs have been asked to submit the reports within 15 days after end of every quarter.
The BB asked the NBFIs to ensure that their directors are not loan defaulters.
The BB suggested that the NBFIs should take approval for the reports from their respective managing directors before uploading it on the central bank web portal, the circular said.
The NBFIs previously submitted the reports to the central bank on manual basis.
