Bangladesh Bank on Tuesday introduced a half-yearly journal named ‘Thought on Banking and Finance’ in a bid to help the people understand the dynamics of the country’s financial sector. BB governor Atiur Rahman unveiled the journal at the central bank headquarters in the capital. The Bangladesh Bank Training Academy, a wing of the central bank, will publish the journal in every six months.
Addressing the function, Atiur said the initiative of publishing the journal added value to the BBTA and also to the central bank.
The opinions, thought and research outcome published in the journal may help the readers understand the dynamics of the country’s economic sector, he said.
Six articles by economists and professionals have been published in the journal, BB deputy governor SK Sur Chowdhury said.
