Bangladesh Cricket Board is set to reshuffle their standing committee in the next board meeting, BCB president Nazmul Hasan said on Sunday. It looks like that there will be some major changes in the cricket committee of Dhaka Metropolis and cricket operations sector.
AZM Nasir, the current CCDM chairman will have to step aside from his position after he was recently elected as vice-president.
‘We are committed to make the changes,’ Nazmul told reporters at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
‘Hopefully we will complete the changes in the next meeting, while the new committee will take over after the Zimbabwe series,’ said Nazmul.
Cricket operation chairman and former national team captain, Akram Khan is also certain to face the axe though the BCB president didn’t make the reason clear.
‘He [Akram] is doing well but he will also be changed,’ he said.
‘We have made a development scheme of five years and keeping that in mind we have to keep changing,’ he added.
