The Bangladesh Football Federation will accord a reception to the national team today for their win over Sri Lanka in the recent FIFA friendly series. Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka 1-0 in Rajshahi on October 27 after the two teams played out a 1-1 draw in Jessore on October 24.
‘To encourage the national team for the forthcoming international matches we will arrange the reception programme,’ said BFF’s general secretary Abu Naeem Sohag said on Friday.
Shohag said the reception will also help the BFF to exchange their views with the footballers before a friendly against Japan Under-21 team and Bangabandhu Gold Cup in December.
