The Bangladesh Football Federation promised a wholesale change in the national team following their premature exit from the ongoing SAFF Suzuki Cup 2015, said BFF officials after an executive committee meeting on Sunday. Bangladesh lost to Afghanistan and Maldives in their first two matches to be eliminated from the group stage of the tournament for the third time in row.
The BFF formed a three-member committee comprised of Sheikh Mohammad Aslam, Ilias Hossain and Azmal Haque Tapon to probe the debacle.
‘We have formed a three-member committee to look into the failure of the national team and you will see a lot of changes in the coming days’, said BFF senior vice-president Abdus Salam Murshedy on Sunday.
‘At the moment I cannot give you the details but we can say that the results of the national team were unexpected to us.’
BFF also indicated that the changes will be visible before the Bangabandhu Gold Cup starting from January 8.
