Noted singer Kumar Biswajit has reproduced his once popular romantic song titled Agochhalo Bhabna, where legendary actor Suchitra Sen appears as a symbol of beauty.
The song released in 1995 will be included in the upcoming album titled Priyo Anubhab, Kumar Biswajit told New Age.
The 28th solo of the singer, featuring 10 songs including Agochhalo Bhabna, is expected to be released simultaneously in Bangladesh and in Kolkata, India in the upcoming Pahela Baishakh celebrations.
Biswajit earlier announced to release his 28th solo on the Valentine’s Day only in the local market.
‘The release of the album was delayed at the death of my mother. Then I thought to include my song on Suchitra as a bonus track in the album following the demise of the actor. Moreover, I contacted an Indian production house to release the album in India,’ Kumar Biswajit said.
The song has been written by Salauddin Sajal and composed by Ali Akbar Lipu and was released in the album Hridoy Er Moyna Tadanta. The song depicts the messiness of bachelors who generally lead an indiscipline life. Among all the irregularities and recklessness of their life, the one thing that is common among all is their passion for Suchitra Sen.
‘Personally, I am a great fan of the actor. The song truly upholds the fact that Suchitra Sen has always been the queen of hearts of the single young men of the subcontinent,’ Biswajit told New Age. ‘Three years after the release of the album, I met Suchitra Sen’s daughter Moon Moon Sen in London. Then I gave her the album to get it to her mother,’ Biswajit said.
Biswajit also informed that the other songs in the upcoming album are of different genres including romantic, sentimental, traditional and others. ‘We are using the acoustics of different instruments like tabla, guitar and flute at the album. But the compositions and lyrics of the songs are contemporary,’ added Biswajit, who further said that noted lyricists and composers including Gazi Mazharul Anwar, Dr Golam Mostafa, Liton Adhikari Rintu, Kabir Bakul, Zulfiqar Russell and Shafiq Tuhin have worked on the lyrics and the compositions of the songs in the album.
Biswajit also added that renowned music director SI Tutul has directed music for the album. Besides, young and talented artistes like Kishore, Mithun, Sumon Kalyan and Ibrar Tipu has helped me a lot in tuning the songs and at different recording stages of the album.
